Everything Slowed Down.

High Speed lights Tunnel motion trails

I heard the “BOOM, BOOM, BOOM” then everything slowed down in the entire room. When the shooter pulled the trigger it seemed like a silent count of three BOOM,123, BOOM, 123, BOOM 123, but everything was moving in slow motion.“BOOM, BOOM, BOOM” then I realized they were striking me. They were ripping my body apart at speeds that ranged between 760 and 820 miles per hour according to Google.

It’s not over when the shooting stops.
It was like being in a prize fight going multiple rounds. For my co-worker and I it was a 53 round fight, 26 rounds struck our bodies and we went down, but 27 other rounds struck all around the room; the walls the furniture and television set and base boards.
It was like the fight between George Foreman and Joe Frazier. George Foreman was known as the hardest hitting heavy weight in boxing history. The ring announcer calling the fight said down goes Frazier, down goes Frazier and the referee started the count of ten. When we went down there was no ten count, we were down and we were not getting up. I was down and a count started for me it lasted for six months before I could stand again. The count for my partner is one that will never end, it’s present and ongoing and he has not gotten up. On July 26, 2016 will mark 26 years ago that we came through a door and we went down for the count and he has not risen again until not even to this day.
