What We Do
All About UsOur Goal
The HEY MAN NO MAN BRAND, is trying to bring awareness about all types of bulling; From Elementary school, to High school, and College, even into adulthood. There are all types bulling in the work place from verbal abuse to patient harassment or patient abuse. Bulling has become common place against the meek. Bulling must stop.
Teach
We must teach our children that they do not have to become products of their environment. We must constantly teach and remind them that they can say NO MAN, when they are approached to do something that they know is wrong.
Promote
We must promote awareness about gun violence, because it is not over when the shooting stops. I have first hand knowledge about the affects of bullets on human flesh. We have failed to express the seriousness of gun violence on families. We have not taught our children the difference between right and wrong, fact or fiction.
Educate
When we take the time to educate our children on how to develop conflict resolution skills to settle disputes through peaceful negotiations and non violence. We must also teach our children the proper way to interact with adults, Law Enforcement and their peers as well. Our children must be empowered with strong oratorical skills to help them navigate through crowds large or small, by mastering the English language. We must use repetition as a way to constantly keep them saying No Man I don’t steal, No Man I don’t cheat on tests. No Man, I don’t skip school. It’s time that we start listening to our children to understand that they are bombarded with real life situations from the time they leave home for school until they return home. There is a gap in time that as parents we are totally unaware of. We need to fill in the gap.
Remember HEY MAN NO MAN.
Facts About Bulling
We must identify the bullies first, and separate them and punish them according to their crimes. Now what do we do for the weak kids who participated because of fear. Let’s try and put ourselves in their shoes, and now we are the ones overwhelmed with the fear of being beaten up or killed? What do we do to help these bullied kids who’s fears are real? We need to recognize that some of the participants are victims of fear, and they deserve adult advocates to speak up on their behalf.
Bullied Children
Some children are beyond help, but the bullied children that are weak need help from strong leaders who are in positions to offer a hand up and not a hand out. These children’s need the proper resources to help them to overcome their fears of being bullied. I hope that many of you believe that many of these kids are worth saving and deserve a second chance.
Skills and Strength
We must teach our children how to pause and think before they speak. This will give them some control of the outcome in most situations. If we teach our children to prepare for various situations and scenarios they may encounter in life by thinking ahead of time.
If they play various scenarios over and over in their minds, this will better equip them with the necessary skills and strength to stand up to the toughest bullies.
